Painted edges Workshop

Learn to paint the edges of your books like a pro.

  • What you'll learn: book preparation, painting techniques, finishing touches
  • What you'll take home: your own painted book
  • Duration: approximately 2 hours
  • Materials: all provided (just bring your book!)
  • Language: French or English depending on the group

Additional information: This is an introductory workshop, so you don't need any prior knowledge. During the workshop, we only paint the fore-edge of the book, not the top or bottom edges, so you can leave with a finished piece.

Miniature Book Workshop

Create small decorative books to represent your favorite works or your reading pile.

  • What you learn: how to create covers, assemble books, and protect them
  • What you take home: your 5 finished miniature books
  • Duration: 1 hour
  • Materials: provided
  • Language: French or English depending on the group

Additional information: the covers for the miniature books you will assemble will be prepared in advance to ensure you leave with your finished products, but I will show you all the steps so you can reproduce them at will.

TBR Jar Workshop

Create an original jar to track your reading in a fun and decorative way.

  • What you'll learn: personalization of the jar and lid
  • You'll leave with: your jar ready to hold your TBR pile
  • Duration: approximately 1h30
  • Material: provided
  • Language: French or English depending on the group

Additional information: the jar designs are created in advance with you via email exchange to ensure you leave with the finished product.
